India is a land of legends. From ancient times, people lived here for centuries, they built houses, flourished the world, established kingdoms. As new settlements were created, sometimes the old settlements were deserted. Sometimes people moved around and inhabited the same place again and again. All these changes are not noticed every time. But still from ancient literature, sometimes inscriptions, sometimes even legends, we get old names of villages, old references. Archeological excavations make certain things clear, sometimes confirming references in literature and sometimes requiring scholars to change their thinking. This is an attempt to find geography from history and connect the dots of ancient geography through various sources
